The 16 Laws of Power - Quany Gz

Inside Dave East’s From The Deli storefront in Harlem, Quany Gz played his upcoming project for friends, family, and industry insiders earlier this week. After attending his listening party, I can confirm that you should absolutely be on the lookout for “The 16 Laws of Power,” when it drops later this month.

Thanks to its many catchy hooks, the polished production, and Quany’s sharp lyricism, the project is a must-listen for any Hip-Hop fan or Melodic Trap enthusiast. It’s got some hard-hitting beats, and cleverly crafted instrumentals that perfectly complement Quany’s vocal style. His lyrics are introspective, personal, and often thought-provoking, lending to the album's overall cohesive sound. Not to mention, there are a few sweet spots in the tracklist with the potential to be the next trending sound on TikTok. With glimpses of vulnerability, its message is sure to resonate with listeners and leave a lasting impression.

While Quany’s performance is a large part of the album’s appeal, he also brought quite the guest list along for the ride. Millyz, Dave East, Mr. Chicken, Cruch Calhoun, Piff Jones, and Lyricvelli, fill out the full cast of characters on the project. Each feature brought distinctive elements to their respective tracks that, in my opinion, elevated the overall listening experience. The features that caught my ear the most were from Millyz (“Gain”), Dave East (“Grew Up In Hell”), and Mr. Chicken (“MVP”), and will definitely be added to my playlist when the full album drops.

If you’re a fan of Dave East, Stunna Gambino, or A. Boogie, Quany Gz, and “The 16 Laws of Power,” are going to be right up your alley. Be on the lookout for the project later this month, and let us know what you think when you give it a listen!
