As of February 1st, 2022, it has officially been announced that 22 year old Brooklyn rapper Tdott Woo has passed away. He was shot outside of his home in Canarsie on Tuesday evening and taken to Brookdale Hospital with GSW to the head where he was later pronounced dead. Only hours before, Tdott was celebrating signing a deal with Million Dollar Music Record Label.
Tdott was loved and respected in his community. He was friends with the late Pop Smoke and can be seen in many of his videos. You may also recognize him as the creator of the famous "Woo Walk" seen in Fivio Foreign's viral debut video "Big Drip". Tdott's manager Skip shared the clip on Twitter saying "Rip TDOTT. Big reason why ‘Big Drip’ popped off. Smh". Rapper Lil Tjay also made a post on Instagram saying "U iconic gang !! Energy unmatched.... We gonna miss you foreve... rest easy guyza".
Tdott will be remembered for his high energy and sturdy dance moves. On Pop Smoke Day 2021, Tdott had the whole Canarsie lit as he danced and did his famous Woo Walk on a giant speaker. He recently posted a DM to his story where a young fan said "Yo gang nfs you inspire me to be a better me. Your energy is unmatched. You bring light to anywhere you step. Dont switch up cuz you soon be on."
