Law ft. Prophet The Artist - Act Like You Know (Visual)
In a video expertly shot and edited by Director Wavechange, New Jersey R&B Sensation Law enlists the help of fellow New Jerseyian Prophet the Artist on her latest string of Summer hits. Heavily influenced by the Drill Sound that has been quite popular in the Tri-State Area as of late, this track is certainly a switch up (no pun intended) from her more recent efforts, "Buss It Down" and "Switch It Up". Reinforcing what she proclaimed on her last track, Law's step into a grittier sound shows just how wide her range is, vocally and lyrically. Prophet the Artist also stands out on the track, tapping into his melodic abilities on the hook, but not before letting off a flurry a bars amidst the track's dizzying visuals.
The videography here is some of the best I've seen in a while, as it's seamlessly edited to give off the feel on a one-shot. Despite its smooth nature, I did actually find myself getting slightly dizzy, but if anything it's testament to the proper execution of a very creative concept.. Victims of Vertigo beware! Otherwise, you should absolutely tune into this track while it's still making its way through to the mainstream.
