Thom’s tenacity is consistent with what he brought to the table with his previous singles, never once faltering. Not to that Akai’s addition to the track brings another layer of brilliance, as the two artists trade jaw-dropping bars, creating a sonic experience that harks back to the golden age of hip-hop. It's a must-listen for fans of the genre, showing off the timeless appeal of this staple subgenre.

Bushwick Rapper SpliffHappy has arrived with his latest visual, a Who Run It NYC Performance for his latest track, “Casa Maya,” directed by KJShotIt. Spliff is a rapper that rides for his people, and always takes the opportunity to put the town and his community on his back. Filmed at the Mexican Day Parade, the visual sees Spliff performing his track while supporters of his dance, hang, and hype him up in the background. With speedy edits that match the Tokyo Drift-sampled track perfectly, Spliff’s performance here ultimately sets the tone for the drop of the official Casa Maya music video, which itself is directed by longtime collaborators Respective Collective.
