Mazzeratti Duke is back with Rated R II, the long-anticipated sequel to his 2019 debut Rated R. The Mobile rapper’s sophomore album arrived today on all major streaming platforms, offering a deeper look into the raw, uncompromising sound that first put him on the radar.
Spanning 10 tracks, Rated R II builds on the foundation Duke laid with his first project. The new release showcases both artistic growth and a continued commitment to unfiltered, street-rooted storytelling. Where Rated R introduced Duke as a voice to watch, its follow-up signals that he’s here for the long haul.
To accompany the album drop, Duke also released the official video for “Straight Out the Slums.” The visual matches the song’s no-nonsense tone, giving fans a cinematic window into the world Duke raps about—unpolished, direct, and intensely personal.
Duke first gained momentum with Rated R, which featured collaborations with Southern artists like NoCap and Rylo Rodriguez, eventually leading to work with Shy Glizzy and others. That debut included “Me Too,” a breakout track that expanded his audience and opened new doors.
With Rated R II Mazzeratti Duke doesn’t just return—he levels up. The album reinforces his place in the Southern rap scene and sets the tone for a year that could mark a major turning point in his career.
