Last Tuesday night, Manhattan's Midtown District witnessed an electrifying event at The Dean, as "DND" the highly-anticipated single from Brooklyn artist Leaf, hit the airwaves. As fans of Leaf’s work, we couldn't miss the opportunity to witness this epic event. Filled with media personnel, industry insiders, and even Latin Music Star, Briante, the crowd absolutely showed up and showed out. DJ Bobby Trends provided the soundtrack for the evening, keeping everyone moving and grooving, while also bringing the Uptown vibe Downtown.
The Dean's Tuesday Detention Series is known for its lively nightlife events, and this one was no exception. As the clock struck 11, the venue was packed, and excitement floated in the air. Leaf, who has been making waves in the city’s music scene, appeared behind the DJ booth with her girlfriends by her side, ready to perform the single that brought everyone there. As the opening notes of "DND" began to ring out from the venue’s massive sound system, the crowd began to turn up alongside
Leaf's raw energy and impeccable flow had everyone in the room vibing to the rhythm. The track's infectious beat and catchy hook had even the most reserved attendees dancing and singing along. Leaf’s stage presence during her short performance was undeniable, and the genuine passion she has for her craft left a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
Before her performance, we had the opportunity to sit down with Leaf and talk about the success of her latest track. “It’s been pretty crazy,” she said in one of the dimly lit booths we occupied at The Dean. “We charted on the Apple Music Charts which is dope….because we just put it out [on] Friday. I’m just really excited and grateful for the love and support!”
The atmosphere at The Dean was electric from start to finish, and Leaf's "DND" single release party was nothing short of a triumph. As the night came to a close, it was evident that Leaf's stardom is on the rise, and we can't wait to see what she has in store for us next
