Noodah05's stock has continued to rise since signing with Lil Baby's 4PF Label (now known as Glass Window) in 2020, not to mention his membership in the Rap Supergroup CBFW (alongside contemporaries Rylo Rodriguez and Veeze, and Label Boss Lil Baby). Having released 5 studio albums already, this past Friday saw him release the lead single from his upcoming effort, "5 MIN OF FAME."
Carried by a hard-hitting, thumping bassline that serves as its rhythmic backbone, "Party" mixes Noodah's Melodic Trap stylings with some Anthemic elements, crafting a song that's guaranteed to have the spot jumping. It's got a dark but fun atmosphere that suits his aesthetic perfectly. Noodah absolutely slides over the ChiChi-produced beat, finding several pockets to experiment with his flow and keep things fresh. Clocking in at just two-and-a-half minutes, the song doesn't overstay its welcome either, which is something I feel many modern Trap records suffer from. If this track is any indication of what Noodah05 has in store, then I'm eagerly awaiting the full release of "5 MIN OF FAME," this Friday, May 10th.
