SET TO APPEAR ON UPCOMING SOPHOMORE ALBUM RELEASING THIS SUMMER - LISTEN HERE

On June 14, 2024, emerging sensation Destroy Lonely returns triumphantly with his highly anticipated new single, "Luv 4 Ya" - offering a glimpse of what's in store on his eagerly awaited second album, set for release this summer. Earlier in April, Lonely previewed the track to a crowd of hundreds during his debut performance at Coachella. "Luv 4 Ya" opens with a smooth, laid-back groove that builds into a high-energy anthem, seamlessly blending expressions of love with reflections on materialistic pursuits, set against slick drums and hypnotic riffs. Produced by Lil 88, henny, and Evertime, "Luv 4 Ya" represents a fresh departure from the gritty beats of his previous releases. The song showcases Lonely's storytelling prowess as he explores the complexities of draining relationships, underscoring his growth as an artist with an evolving and captivating sound. Experience the track on Opium/Interscope Records.
In 2023, Destroy Lonely experienced unprecedented success and critical acclaim. His debut album, "If Looks Could Kill," propelled his career to new heights. Within just 24 hours of its release, the album surged to the top spot on Apple Music. On Spotify, it amassed nearly 10 million streams, marking his highest streaming day to date, and secured a place in the Top 20 on the Billboard 200 chart. Prior to "If Looks Could Kill," Lonely gained significant momentum with his mixtape "NO STYLIST," featuring the certified Gold title track "NOSTYLIST." This project not only received acclaim from critics but also earned him spots on multiple "Artist to Watch" lists for 2023, including Rolling Stone, Complex, Billboard, Pigeons & Planes, Alt Press, among others.
Apart from his music career, Lonely expanded his influence significantly. He made notable strides by partnering with designer Matthew Williams (formerly of Givenchy) to curate an exclusive merchandise collection, featured prominently in two iconic Marc Jacobs campaigns, and even designed a custom pair of Bose headphones. His bold ventures across various creative fields not only highlighted his versatility but also solidified his reputation as an innovator. Throughout this year, the Opium artist has remained active, collaborating with producer Southside and label-mate Ken Carson on "President," and teaming up with Atlanta's Quavo on "Potato Loaded." He started the summer with a dynamic performance at Coachella and is set to take the stage this weekend at Lyrical Lemonades Summer Smash in Chicago. With each new project, he unveils another facet of his artistry, signaling the dawn of a new era for Destroy Lonely yet to be fully explored.
