Last week, Amirah surprised her classmates by performing for them for the first time during "Senior Day." Introduced by Mustard, she delivered a memorable performance ahead of her prom, leaving her peers and teachers mesmerized. The surprises continued as Amirah announced the acoustic version of Wish It Wasn't You during her graduation day through a compelling compilation video, generating excitement for the project's release.
Amirah's musical journey is a testament to her resilience and determination. She began playing the piano at the age of three and had her first solo performance with the church choir at seven. The pandemic allowed her to showcase her talent on TikTok, where her first video, published in March 2021, went viral three months later with over 11 million views. This success led to her signing with Mustard’s Grammy Award-winning label, 10 Summers/Interscope Records, just six months later.
